March Amazingness!!!!

I don't even know where to begin, but these passed 3 weekend in March have been most wonderful! Wonderful memories made, lots n lots of laughs, singing, seeing old friends, making new ones.

1st weekend in March, invite a couple weekend.
We invited the Webels from KC, and had Leah over as well.
 





 

<2nd weekend in March.> Wow what a weekend! So...we had planned a few months ago that Karla, Tiffany, Jeana, and Anna S. were coming out to surprise Jody for her birthday, and did they ever surprise her!! ha. Anyway my plan sorta backfired on me, and while us gals were milkin Saturday, who but Leah, and Anna H. show up!!!! Talk about a surprise!!!!! I think dad was alil worried about his cows with 10 girls milking!! :)  Even to this day, I cant believe ya gals did that!! Anyway despite the rain, it was a perfectly amazing weekend!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
<3rd weekend> Amanda, Jody, and I traveled to Illinois for our Mexico trip reunion, and spend Friday with Karla and Jeana. We went to Bloomington, and went ice skating, and went to a Frozen yogurt shop, a coffee shop, and Meat heads. Every trip hasta have some laughs in it and this one did for sure, just to give you a few. Going around the same section 2 times...or was it 3? lol. Running a red light. Setting off the car alarm at Walmart. :) Then Saturday went went up to Rittman for invite-a-friend. And again had an awesome time there! The time we had there was alil short tho. But looking forward to Lord willing seeing ya'll again in about a month!! :)  
 
 
Words nor pictures can't do justice with the wonderful memories and times spend with all of you girls in the passed several weekends. love you all so very much!!! :) It truly is a wonderful heritage that we have, whereas we can travel from state to state and have a church family and amazing friends to go and see!

    Ahhh! Yes, Leigha. Wonderful memories. :) Love that quote, btw. It's SO true! And what would those memories be if they hadn't contained some laughs along the way... ;) Love ya and miss you lots!

    Those were awesome weekends! Serious...seeing your face when we walked in your barn with coffee and our faces covered up was priceless. It got even better when you finally pulled my hood down and figured out who we were:) Gotta love great weekends with awesome people! Hey that's the quote I saw in your bedroom that i CAN NEVER seem to remember. Thanks:)

Changes

Yup big changes! I'm moving...to Fairbury, Illinois, in less than a month. Who would have ever thought? Definitely was not in my plans to be doing, or ever doing! But God had a different plan in mind, and I know its a greater plan than I could have ever come up with. But if it would have been my choice, Illinois would have been definitely not on the top of my list. Don't get me wrong I love the people, but it's just a little to fast paced for me, has no dirt roads or even gravel for that matter, and there's lots n lots of people and towns and houses! :) A little different from what I'm used to here in Bern, Kansas! But I'm getting more excited. It's going to be a big adjustment tho. I'm gonna miss my dear, crazy, awesome, maybe a little odd at times, Family so much! And my wonderful friends, whom I will dearly miss! But don't worry I will be home a lot!....I think! :) And the big open spaces where you can't see anything or anyone for miles around

Back in Kansas | week 1

Yes, I'm home.  Yes, I miss Bukeka. Yes, I'm cold. Yes, I miss it. Yes, it went fast. Yes, I learned a lot. No, I won't be able to explain it all right now.  One of my friends on the other side thought it was funny how I numbered my weeks while I was in Uganda, but then he suggested I should do the same thing when I get back home too. Praising God for the most incredible past 7 months and also for the safe journey back home on Tuesday.  You know I am praising Jesus so much, my first week at home couldn't have gone better. I was nervous and anxious about coming home, and still am a little with the weeks ahead. But God has been so faithful to me. I'm 100% confidant its the prayers prayed on my behalf with this transition. Yes I'm lonely for my kids and all that Suubi was to me, but so far the transition home has been so smooth. Maybe it helps that I could jump right back into working, and that I got to come home to two of my sibling

Tribute to Richard

        I don't know if it was more of a honor to know such a man, work for him, or speak at his Rosary service, but people like Richard don't come around very often and I for one feel so blessed to be touched by his life.         We tend to say that Richard lost his battle with brain cancer, but what really happened is that he won. He gained the greatest victory on Monday, July 6th, 2020 and is now living the best life and I am so jealous. He was so ready to go and his last few weeks were such a testimony to me. Patiently  and eagerly  waiting to leave this earth and his physical pain. That's how I want to be.         I’ve been blessed to have many wonderful and incredible examples and mentors in my 25 years thus far, but out of all of them, Richard outweighs them all. He was a silent example in so many ways and I think I can say along with many other young people that even though Richard didn’t have any children of his own, he was like a father figure to so many of us.
