Farm girls and their cows :)

One day Jody and I had a crazy idea (one of our very many:)), we bought our special cows and ourselves crazy hats. We dressed them up one day and had a photo session! Both Jody and I never recall playing dress up as little kids, so we decided that a girls gotta play dress up once in her childhood! :) Mom and dad thought we needed to have a little more work on out hands! But hey, we need to have alil fun once in a while!
 
 




 
                                   Its so cool to be doing your job, passion, hobby all in one! :)

Changes

Yup big changes! I'm moving...to Fairbury, Illinois, in less than a month. Who would have ever thought? Definitely was not in my plans to be doing, or ever doing! But God had a different plan in mind, and I know its a greater plan than I could have ever come up with. But if it would have been my choice, Illinois would have been definitely not on the top of my list. Don't get me wrong I love the people, but it's just a little to fast paced for me, has no dirt roads or even gravel for that matter, and there's lots n lots of people and towns and houses! :) A little different from what I'm used to here in Bern, Kansas! But I'm getting more excited. It's going to be a big adjustment tho. I'm gonna miss my dear, crazy, awesome, maybe a little odd at times, Family so much! And my wonderful friends, whom I will dearly miss! But don't worry I will be home a lot!....I think! :) And the big open spaces where you can't see anything or anyone for miles around...

Greetings from.....Oh wait...I'm still here in Kansas and still alive. Doing what I love. Working with and milking cows and more cows, anticipating the upcoming Kansas State Fair and the World Dairy Expo! And attempting to teach the kiddos again. Which has been going much more smoothly than last year. Even tho yes, I'd much rather be outside, it has been a great experience for me and I think I'm learning more than the kids. :) When God says 'He won't give us more than we can't handle' is very true. Because I really don't know how I've made it a year and now starting an other year helping the kids with school. Don't get me wrong, I just love spending time with my siblings and I love them to the moon and back, but teaching just isn't my thing. Thus it is a tremendous experience for me and teaching me so many things! God has a crazy way putting us through things to learn crazy amazing things! March Amazingness!!!!

I don't even know where to begin, but these passed 3 weekend in March have been most wonderful! Wonderful memories made, lots n lots of laughs, singing, seeing old friends, making new ones. 1st weekend in March, invite a couple weekend. We invited the Webels from KC, and had Leah over as well.     <2nd weekend in March.> Wow what a weekend! So...we had planned a few months ago that Karla, Tiffany, Jeana, and Anna S. were coming out to surprise Jody for her birthday, and did they ever surprise her!! ha. Anyway my plan sorta backfired on me, and while us gals were milkin Saturday, who but Leah, and Anna H. show up!!!! Talk about a surprise!!!!! I think dad was alil worried about his cows with 10 girls milking!! :)  Even to this day, I cant believe ya gals did that!!
